Typically, the market continue to be weak, especially after China have release data showing slow-down on their country economic. And roughly there’s couple of months to Dec, US will be raising the interest rate.
I am not really hopeful that the capital I have invested in Singtel will break-even. If that the case, I would expected to receive around $1060 cash dividend in the month of Jan 2016, provided, if there’s no changes in the payout base on previous year or further increasing my holdings for Singtel.
And that’s the beauty of dividend investing, while waiting for the market to recover, the investor continue to receive cash from their investment. Upon receiving it hence there’s no requirement to use it, he could use it to buy more shares or reserve the cash waiting for opportunities to redeploy it.
This is what I am doing now…
Do note, Singtel will be hitting couple of support at $3.49 and $3.43, any break of this support, likely we will be seeing further share price drop.
