A lot of the investors I have come upon dun really read a lot. As we know, Warren Buffett dun play with his hand phone or watch video on his hand phone like most of the people we get to see in this century. He only read the newspaper & annual reports for investment ideas. Unless, someone call him to provide him with deals.
Warren Buffett also quoted “If past history was all there was to the game, the richest people would be librarians”
However, librarians dun really read but to arrange books and assist the readers in the library during their work hours.
As for me, I do read a lot, based on the library records from year 2013 till this year 2015. I have borrow 346 books. 80 to 90% of these books are actually investment & finance related books. Therefore, one year I will read almost 100 books & average 7 to 8 books on weekly basis. Moreover, this excludes other books which I will buy from book stores every single month.
If you have not done any reading lately, do pick up a book hence the more you read, those knowledge which you obtain from the books can’t be taken away and stay within you and it also aid you to make better judgment in your investment decision.
